I even have a countdown on my computer until the movie comes out (42 days!!!). So, of course, I was a little skeptical when I saw an ad for the Hunger Pains. How could they make fun of my favorite book?? But I've gotta say, it was SO funny! Kantkiss truly lives up to her name! The characters are so goofy and I was laughing the whole way through. The characters are all based off the ones in the original book, and the story hits all the funniest parts of the real Hunger Games. Kantkiss is a hysterical character. She is clumsy, oblivious, but somehow manages to stumble her way through the Games. And all the parts with Pita were hilarious. He's chubby and nice, and can't catch a break when it comes to his crush on Kantkiss. If you're a fan of the Hunger Games, you should definitely read the Hunger Pains!
